I love the idea of this book - 12 women get together each year and swap cookies, recipes and life stories. It is the ultimate chicklit book and will make the perfect girly flick when it is made into a movie. I can picture the characters now, and the actors who will play them. The characters' stories are actually quite traumatic, but totally believable. The camaraderie between the women helps them cope with their difficult situations.
This book makes me want to bake cookies and start a cookie club, for the homemaking side of it and for the friendship factor. Hmm..worth considering!
