I've always thought Judith Lucy was a crack-up, so when I saw this book in the shops, I knew I would be in for a laugh. And I wasn't let down! I have been snorting and guffawing all the way through this book, as Judith Lucy talks about her life with her family and their unusual relationships. Oh, comedians, they have the gift of analogy. While some of the stories are sad and even tragic, Judith Lucy portrays a family life full of frustration, but, ultimately, love. I challenge you to pick this book up and try not to laugh on the first page. It's impossible!!
